JCPenney and Project Runway Winner Ashley Nell Tipton Team Up to Create New Collection

Ashley Nell Tipton (Purple Hair) is the winner of the 14th season of Project Runway. To my knowledge she is the first winner that wants to cater to curvy girls. I knew that Ashley and JCPenney was working together to create a new collection, but I did not expect it to be this fabulous. Let's face it, JCPenney is not known for having fashionable curvy girl clothing. I've bought a few pieces from them, but I've never been blown away like this!!! Right now I am trying to figure out a way to get everything that I have my eyes on and JCPenney is offering 40% off of all Ashely's items!!!

As usual, I've taken the time to review the collection and here are my favorite outfits. The link to each piece is right below the picture.

First Let's start out by acknowledging this stripped scuba cropped top and skirt ensemble. I am not bold enough just yet to wear a crop top, but this outfit makes me want to throw caution to wind and rock the crop. Now if stripes aren't your thing, both pieces also come in black and Bridgette which is a cool lipstick print. If I had my way, I would purchase them all!!

Next, we have the sequined bomber jacket, graphic tee, and pleated faux-leather skirt. This was one of the first outfits that I saw when I opened my e-mail today and instantly I knew that Ashely and JCPenney had made magic. Check out Ashely below.

Sequin Sleeve Bomber Jacket, Graphic Tee,                                            Pleated Faux Leather Skirt

Last but not least, we have the Cropped Long-Sleeve Button Down and Quilted Pencil Skirt. The shirt comes in black, white, and the Bridgette print. While the skirt comes in black, black cherry (deep red) and olive grove (olive green).  I feel like this outfit could carry me from the office to a dinner date with my husband. The picture below shows the shirt in Bridgette print and the skirt in black cherry.

Overall, I really love the collection and I feel like it breathes new life into JCPenney's plus-size clothing selection and I really hope they continue to work with her. You can find the full Boutique+ Ashley Nell Tipton Collection by clicking below.
